It will be signed by the Armando Testa agency, to which the Municipality has entrusted a project defined as "innovative for a new positioning of the city's image".


    The initiative - the organization announced - is supported mainly with ministerial funds linked to the tender promoted by the Ministry of Tourism for the tourism relaunch of cities with a tourist-cultural vocation, recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site, won by the Municipality of Assisi.

The resources will finance the general project called "Vivi Assisi.


   Valorization of Franciscan places, with ethical and experiential naturalistic itineraries", aimed at supporting various activities such as the relaunch of strategic cultural assets, works and installations functional to increasing the use and tourist attractiveness, as well as new promotion, communication and marketing projects.

Also planned is the restyling of the portal www.visit-assisi.it, the institutional website for tourism promotion, which will be completely renovated and equipped with the latest features also linked to the theme of accessibility.


    "It is the first time - underlines Stefania Proietti - that our city is the protagonist of a campaign of this kind, with an important economic investment, possible thanks to ministerial funds that our Municipality has been able to intercept and which strengthen the promotional actions already undertaken these years, considering that Assisi now steadily represents 25% of the entire regional tourist flow. This is a project that aims to present Assisi to the world as an ideal destination all year round, the 'capital' of values, spirituality, art and culture An approach in line with the great work that we have been carrying out for some time for the tourism and hospitality supply chain, in view of the great events of the Jubilee and the Franciscan centenary in 2026, which will certainly favor new opportunities for economic and social development for the city and for the entire territory".
