The city council has appointed Karl Neuner, previous authorized representative for both companies, as technical director of Stadtwerke Weilheim and technical managing director of Stadtwerke Weilheim Energie GmbH.

New boss at Weilheimer Stadtwerke: At the most recent city council meeting, authorized representative Karl Neuner was appointed technical director of the municipal company and technical managing director of Energie GmbH.
The city council has also changed the municipal utilities' corporate statutes: In the future, the municipal utilities' board will consist of two members.

Karl Neuner, long-time authorized representative of Stadtwerke Weilheim Energie GmbH SWE, managed the business on an interim basis until the succession was settled.
During the transition period, the business of the Stadtwerke Weilheim municipal company was managed by the two authorized representatives Veronika Schrepfer and Stefan Herbst.
The board of directors of the municipal company Stadtwerke Weilheim has now appointed Neuner as technical director of Stadtwerke Weilheim and technical managing director of Stadtwerke Weilheim Energie GmbH.
At the same time, the Weilheim city council changed the corporate statutes of Stadtwerke Weilheim: In the future, the board of directors of Stadtwerke will consist of two members.
Neuner, an administrative business economist, has been with Stadtwerke Weilheim since 2004.
In 2008 he took over the management of the Stadtwerke depot and was granted power of attorney for Stadtwerke Weilheim Energie GmbH SWE in February 2021.
“I am very pleased about the new member of the board and management and would like to take this opportunity to warmly congratulate Mr. Neuner,” said Mayor Markus Loth at the city council meeting.
Neuner was happy to accept the appointment: “I would like to thank the Weilheim city council for their trust.
And I am looking forward to successfully continuing the business and projects of Stadtwerke as a municipal company and SWE as a modern energy supplier together with the extremely committed Stadtwerke employees.”
Until the appointment of the Commercial Director of Stadtwerke Weilheim and Commercial Managing Director of Stadtwerke Weilheim Energie GmbH, these positions will also be held by Neuner.
