A man and a woman were seriously injured in a head-on collision between two cars near Hohenfels (Neumarkt district in the Upper Palatinate).
Two people were seriously injured in the accident.

It was initially unclear how the accident occurred on Monday morning, a police spokesman said.
An expert was initially called to the scene of the accident.
There were no other people in the vehicles.
