Because of a written threat, two carnival parades in Bochum are starting late.
After receiving the threat, there were “intensive police measures” to ensure security, the Bochum police said on Monday.
That's why it was decided to start it later.
The train in Bochum-Höntrop now starts at 3 p.m., the one in Bochum-Linden at 4 p.m.
Bochum - “People’s safety has absolute priority,” it said in a statement.
The police were initially unable to provide any further information.
