Lapid attacked Netanyahu's silence: "From his point of view, the country will burn"/Knesset Channel
The chairman of the opposition, Yair Lapid, announced today (Monday) that the discussion of the 40 signatures on the issue of the state budget scheduled for the rest of the day will be canceled, requiring the presence of the Prime Minister. According to Lapid, the decision stems from the events of the night, in which the kidnapped Fernando Marman and Louis Har were returned, and the fall of the two fighters, Witnesses Eldor and Alon Kleinman. "The Yesh Atid faction has decided to act with national responsibility," it was reported.
Yesterday, Yesh Atid announced that the various House factions had collected and signed the quota necessary to hold a debate in the Knesset plenum in the presence of the Prime Minister and the opposition leader.
The document reads: "Despite the expectations for a smart and valuable change of priorities and instead of approving a budget that helps the evacuees, the reservists and strengthening the sense of security, once again the government and its leader lead a shameless and irresponsible political budget."
