Meghan Markle and Prince Harry missed the eagerly awaited NFL finale in Las Vegas.
They are said to have had an invitation to the Super Bowl.
Las Vegas – The biggest sporting event in the world took place in Las Vegas on the night from Sunday to Monday.
The Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.
But while superstars like Taylor Swift (34), Jay-Z (54) and Blake Lively (36) were excited about the American football thriller, Prince Harry (39) and Meghan Markle (42) stayed away from the sold-out Allegiant Stadium.

The already astronomical ticket prices for the Super Bowl had skyrocketed even more in 2024, not least due to the romance between superstar Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce (34), tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs.
According to CNN,
the average
ticket cost just under $10,000 .
Many a fan would lick their fingers after an invitation.

Prince Harry had already had a taste of football last Thursday in Las Vegas.
At the “NFL Honors” awards show, Harry Cameron presented an award to Heyward (34), the defensive end of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In his first appearance after the lightning visit to King Charles III.
(75), Harry joked his way through Vegas, but didn't mention his father, who was suffering from cancer.

have invited Prince Harry to the Super Bowl 2024, according to

But Harry and Meghan decided not to appear at the big NFL finale.
However, King Charles' cancer is not said to have been the reason for the cancellation, but rather a trip to Canada next week.
In 2025, the Invictus Games, founded by Prince Harry, will take place in Vancouver and Whistler.

At the start of the one-year countdown, Meghan and Harry paid a visit to the next venue, so there was apparently no room for the Super Bowl in the Sussexes' schedule.
Prince Harry in particular is a fan of the spectacle; in 2022, Harry attended the NFL final in Inglewood, California, together with his cousin, Princess Eugenie (33).
Maybe he just wanted to avoid the threatening attention, after all, Prince Harry's recent quick visit to King Charles left a bitter aftertaste.
