Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak and the city of Kfar Saba expressed great joy and excitement this morning (Monday) following the news of the release of the abductees Louis Har and Fernando Marman, their residents.

"There is madness among the residents of the kibbutz, I stood up and jumped," said kibbutz girl Nir Yitzhak.

In Kfar Saba they said: "We are ready for Fernando's return. How we waited for you, dear Nano, how good you are back home."

At an early hour, the kibbutz announced the release of the abductees: "The kibbutz is excited by the news of the release of Luis Herr and Fernando Marman. The two were kidnapped from the home of Clara, a member of the kibbutz, along with their family members. Clara and the family's daughters were released, and have been fighting for the release of Luis and Fernando ever since.

"Today we woke up to the exciting news of Their return - we welcome our beloved Clara, family members and of course Luis and Fernando!

The kibbutz shares in the grief of the families of the soldiers who fell in the liberation operation.

Many thanks to the security forces for the success of Operation Yad Zahav.

We hope and wish for the quick and safe release of the other abductees."

The kibbutz is almost empty, but the joy is also felt by the few who remain.

Only the essential workers and the members of the standby squad are here while the majority of the kibbutz has not been found for four months and most of them are in Kibbutz Eilot near Eilat.

"There is madness among the residents of the kibbutz, I stood in the room and jumped," shared Sigal Shbalman, a daughter of kibbutz Nir Yitzhak.

"It is joy mixed with sadness, because we are waiting for the rest of the abductees to be released, where other residents of Nir Yitzhak are still being held. The most important thing for us is that they returned alive. We ask the general public to come to the square of the abductees to express sympathy, we want and need to return to the kibbutz when possible," she added.

Janet, also from the kibbutz, said: "The feelings are really happy and we are all excited. We can only hope that we will return to the kibbutz together with them and all the abductees. This morning we have hope."

"An entire family gets to be reunited today after 129 days in captivity," said Susie Lonsky, community manager of Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak.

"It helps to regain some sense of control over the freedom that was taken from all of us, and it is the duty of the State of Israel to return all kidnapped citizens home."

She mentioned the concern for the other abductees and especially for the members of the kibbutz who remained captive - "Lior, that we are very worried about him. We don't know yet what his condition is, only that he was kidnapped and injured. And also Oren and Tal, who were killed and kidnapped - and we all have an obligation to bring them to burial at home."

Kibbutz members tell of joy mixed with sadness.

They want all the abductees at home, Lior who was kidnapped, and Oren and Tal who were killed and they are waiting to return them for burial at home.

In Kibbutz Sho'em they hope they will return soon.

"It's still not safe here," they say, but they are sure that they will return to bloom the kibbutz that is currently almost deserted.

In Kibbutz Urim where Lewis lives there are still people who are outside the kibbutz, but there the circles are active and the veterans are there.

The member of the kibbutz, Naomi Bat Haim, said: "We received a happy message that our Louis is back and healthy. There is great joy, we are very excited and do sports for him."

Her friend Sarah said that her son enlightened her early in the morning "with great joy and tears in his eyes": "We made pizzas and told about Louis", she said.

The city of Kfar Saba, where Fernando Marman lives, also welcomed the operation.

"We are ready for Fernando's return, and I would like to thank and strengthen the security forces and the fighters, for the successful operation. We have been waiting for you a lot, dear Nano, how good you are back home," said Mayor Rafi Sa'ar.
