More than 600 revelers gathered in Paimboeuf, on the night of Saturday February 10 to Sunday February 11, to commune with the syncopated and frantic rhythms of techno, in a rave party facing the Loire estuary.

The festivities, which began around midnight, attracted nearly 120 vehicles.

They parked around a hangar being decontaminated which, that night, was taken over by the “partyers”.

Unauthorized, the event would have been particularly disruptive at night, in the town center of Paimboeuf, causing significant noise pollution in the heart of this town located between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire.

According to Instagram posts and images that

Le Figaro

was able to consult, the evening would have been organized on the occasion of the Chinese New Year.

The only visible reference to this pretext, the effigy of a red dragon with yellow eyes had been erected in the center of the stage, behind five roaring sound systems.

Material seized

Asked by

Le Figaro

, the owner of the hangar, the Atlantic Marine company, limited itself to confirming that a building belonging to it was indeed invaded by Loire revelers and that the company had

“nothing to do”

with what was happening. It happened this weekend in Paimboeuf.

The company did not wish to specify whether it had filed a complaint.

Arriving on the scene during the festivities, the gendarmes carried out several identity and alcohol checks during the night, then in the morning - the party only finally ended around 1 p.m. according to our colleagues from

Ouest France

.

The gendarmerie was responsible for confiscating the sound equipment, but not before having arrested at least ten diehards, according to images posted on social networks.
