British Vogue boss Edward Enninful says goodbye.
His last cover puts real power women in the spotlight - actually made for Meghan Markle.
London - A simple mix of black and white, it's not about the clothes, but the impressive women who wear them.
With a remarkable cover, Anna Wintour's successor Edward Enninful (51) bids a brilliant farewell to the March issue of British
Vogue
, which will be published on February 13th.
His farewell work actually screams Meghan Markle (42), but as it turns out, there is no trace of the Duchess on the title.
Edward Enninful designed a title with Meghan Markle, but did not give her a place to say goodbye
Edward Enninful had big shoes to fill when he took over the fashion bible from fashion legend Anna Wintour (74) in 2017.
Under his leadership, people with disabilities, a man, a transgender model and even climate activist Greta Thunberg (21) made it onto the cover of the British flagship for the first time.
Meghan Markle was also allowed to help shape a theme and
smile from the cover of
Vogue .

On one day in December, forty of the world's most booked and sought-after women gathered in a Manhattan studio to face Enninful on his farewell cover in honor of Enninful.
The master apparently leaves, not without controversy, but with a loud bang, and demonstrates who will follow when he calls.
The line-up is truly impressive.
Meghan Markle would have had a comparatively short journey

Edward Enninful has placed Oprah Winfrey (70) in the center, with Jane Fonda (86), Serena Williams (42), Victoria Beckham (49), Gigi Hadid (28), Dua Lipa (28), Linda Evangelista (58) posing calmly around her ), Cara Delevingne (31), Karlie Kloss (31), Miley Cyrus (31), Naomi Campbell (53), Salma Hayek (57) and Anya Taylor-Joy (27) and many more.
They only have one thing in common: they are “connected by their size, determination and an earlier photo on the cover,” it says.
The photo was taken by fashion photographer Steven Meisel (69), a legend in his own right.
He shared the picture on Instagram with the short words: “What an honor.”
Mind you, an honor that was not bestowed on Meghan Markle.
Although she has been considered close friends with the
Vogue
boss since her guest edit in September 2019, although many of her friends and acquaintances are involved.
The Duke and Duke of Sussex conducted their scandalous interview with Winfrey in 2020, Serena Williams was Meghan's first guest on her successful podcast episode Archetypus on Spotify, Victoria Beckham danced at her wedding with Prince Harry (39), although the latter is said to have ended the friendship.
