Three of the four German teams made it to the knockout rounds, only Union Berlin was eliminated in the group phase.
In the round of 16, FC Bayern and Borussia Dortmund drew viable opponents in Lazio Rome and PSV Eindhoven, but a high hurdle awaits RB Leipzig.
The Saxons meet one of the title favorites, Real Madrid.
The “Royals” confidently qualified for the round of 16 as group leaders and are in top form: Toni Kroos’ team won 4-0 against second-placed Girona at the weekend.
However, an opportunity for Leipzig is presented by the Spaniards' injury problems, including stars Jude Bellingham and Antonio Rüdiger.

Champions League live: Which games does Prime Video broadcast?
Before the start of the round of 16, Amazon has decided on the top games of this year's knockout phase.
All three German starters can be seen on Prime Video, but Bayern can only be seen in the second leg.

While Borussia Dortmund still has no games this week, Munich are challenged away from home.
After the bitter 3-0 defeat in the top game at Bayer Leverkusen, coach Thomas Tuchel's team has something to make up for.
With Lazio Rome, an unpleasant opponent awaits FCB, who left Feyenoord Rotterdam and Celtic Glasgow behind in the group phase.
The team is only in eighth place in the Italian league, so the Munich team will definitely go into the game as favorites.
Nevertheless, Harry Kane and Co. have to improve significantly compared to the Leverkusen game in order to gain a good starting position for the second leg on March 5th.
