There are now four emergency call boxes in Neubiberg, which are intended to save lives in case of doubt.

These are the locations.

Neubiberg – The municipality of Neubiberg has installed four new emergency call stations with built-in defibrillators in order to expand rapid emergency rescue.

In addition to a functional unit on the Unterbiberg market square, three locations in Neubiberg were also equipped: in the area of the blessing hall at the cemetery, at the market hut in the environmental garden and at the bus stop in front of the Rosenkranzkönigin church on the main street.

According to information from the town hall, another combined emergency call point is to be installed at the busy station square.

The local council unanimously approved a corresponding application from the CSU to expand the local first aid infrastructure last year.

Mayor Thomas Pardeller (CSU) recently emphasized the importance of these systems in the committee: “In an emergency, minutes often decide between life and death,” emphasized the town hall boss.

This makes it all the more important to “provide a public network of emergency call points in our community so that we can easily make an emergency call and provide first aid.”

Around 100,000 people suffer heart failure every year

Background: Sudden cardiac death is one of the most common causes of death in Germany.

According to current surveys, around 100,000 people die of sudden heart failure every year.

The chances of survival increase by up to 60 percent through immediate use of a defibrillator.

However, it is also important to correctly handle the emergency call and the defibrillators.

The community plans to hold an information event on this soon.

From the community's perspective, no one should have any fear or concerns about its use.

“As soon as the emergency call button is pressed, the rescue control center will contact you and support first responders until the ambulance arrives - the only mistake that can be made is to look away and do nothing,” emphasizes the municipality of Neubiberg.
