The shooting occurred around 4:38 p.m. in the city.

In a message on the social network 'X', the New York Police have asked the population to avoid the area between Inwood Avenue and Townsend Avenue due to "an active police investigation."
According to local network ABC7, one of the victims of the shooting died after arriving at the hospital.
For its part, the 'New York Post' newspaper adds that one of the victims was shot in the face.
At this time, no arrests have been made and the murder weapon has not been found.
