Sogesid - the "in house providing" engineering company of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security (Mase) and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (Mie) - and the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome have signed an agreement for rehabilitation projects environmental, in particular for water management and land reclamation interventions, with the aim of acting against climate change.
Sogesid announced this, explaining that the agreement "aims to combine, in a system logic, the technical expertise of Sogesid and the University's experience in scientific research for the development of projects linked to the integrated management of water resources, reclamation and environmental restoration also through the carrying out of epidemiological investigations on sites characterized by environmental pressure factors. International collaboration is also at the center of the agreement.
From this perspective, starting from the Word Water Forum 2027, Sogesid and the University will be able to present related post-emergency initiatives with climate change as well as collaborating in the management and implementation of pilot projects in the hydro-energy sector".
The partnership will also concern the organization of in-depth conferences and seminars and the activation of internships for students enrolled in university courses, masters and research doctorates promoted by the University.
