Local heat at a glance: The special pipes bring local heat from regional biomass (here: wood chips from dead wood) directly to the Tölzer houses.

The Bad Tölz municipal utilities want to continue expanding the local heating connection quickly.
However, there will be traffic disruptions.
Bad Tölz – Winter is taking a break.
The Tölzer Stadtwerke want to use this to quickly start their construction sites in 2024.
If the temperatures continue to be so mild, the excavator will arrive on Lenggrieser Strasse between the entrance to Moraltpark and the Kohlstattstrasse entrance in mid-February.
“In the medium term, the local heating connection to the new heat energy center (WEZ) is to be created,” says a statement from the municipal utilities.
A traffic light will regulate traffic in this area until approximately mid/late March.
Traffic light regulations and closure: Construction work for local heating connections will be resumed
Work will also begin on Eichmühlstrasse at the end of February.
During this time, this will be closed to flowing traffic from house number 4 (BayWa) to the Greinerstrasse junction.
Although no connection to the local heating pipes at the old station square is currently possible in this area, this measure will be carried out as early as 2024.
The reason: As soon as work on the bypass begins, Allgaustraße - in this case it serves as a diversion until around May - can no longer be used.

Local heating in the bathing area will continue in February.
Here, Badstrasse, from the tourist information office to Angerstrasse, will be closed to traffic in the section to be worked on until early summer.
The diversion takes place via Arzbacher Straße and Bockschützstraße and in the other direction via Königsdorfer Straße.
Residents will be informed in a personal letter
The electricity division is also continuing the measures that began in 2023 at the new Mühlgasse station; there may also be disruptions here for around four weeks in the spring.
The following applies to all projects: “The direct residents will be informed in a personal letter by the energy supplier after the traffic routing has been approved by the city.” All other road users will keep the municipal utilities updated via the media.
