According to the weather forecast of the 100-year calendar, spring could be quite uncomfortable.
It is likely to be really cold, especially in the first three weeks of March.
Only with the beginning of the so-called solar year at the end of March will better weather be announced.
The year of the sun, from March 22, 2024 to March 21, 2025, is expected to be rather dry overall and only moderately warm, according to the homepage of the 100-year calendar.

According to the 100-year calendar, April promises to feature typical April weather.
Rainfall and low temperatures alternate with relatively warm and sunny weather.

Weather forecast for May 2024 according to the 100-year calendar is mixed
April leaves the stage with cloudy and cold weather and hands over the same circumstances to May.
The first half of the month in May looks “very mixed”.
At least the temperatures should usually be quite pleasant.
However, the 100-year calendar predicts that it will get cooler again at the end of May.
February 2024 already provided a foretaste of the approaching spring.

Weather forecast for June follows the patterns of previous months
The meteorological start of summer is June 1st.
But astronomically speaking, spring doesn't end until June 21st. According to the forecast of the 100-year calendar, the weather probably doesn't differentiate depending on the season.
The entire month of June fits in with the previous months: according to the farmers' calendar, there should be no sign of consistent spring or summer weather.
Instead, sun and rain alternate throughout the month.

More folklore than science – this is the 100-year calendar
The weather forecasts of the Centennial Calendar are based on the observations of the 17th century abbot Moritz Knauer.
He based his weather forecasts on the presumed influence of the then known five planets, as well as the sun and the moon.
Knauer believed that weather repeats itself in a seven-year cycle.
The physician Christoph von Hellwig continued Knauer's calendar and contributed significantly to its popularity.
Nevertheless, the farmers' calendar is not based on scientific facts and, according to the German Weather Service (DWD), is partly based on incorrect assumptions.
It is possible that the predictions of the farmers' calendar occasionally come true.
“From a meteorological point of view, such coincidences are purely coincidental and in no way scientifically justified,” said the DWD.

It remains to be seen whether the predictions of the farmers' calendar come true.
The centennial calendar's forecast for January and the weather forecast for February were hardly confirmed.
The fact is: “The further we want to look into the future, the more difficult it becomes to make reliable statements,” it says on the DWD website.
With medium to long-term forecasts such as those for the hundred-year calendar, continually declining quality must be expected.
Especially since the predictions of the farmers' calendar lack any scientific basis.
