An attraction in the anniversary year of the 100th anniversary of the Walchensee power plant are the “Music Summer” concerts.

As has now been announced, Pippo Pollina will also be coming in July.

Kochel am See – The Uniper group has been running the series since 2021 in collaboration with Sabine and Stefan Pfister from “KleinKunst und Kultur” (KKK) in Lenggries.

The artists play at the information center under the roof, which is expanded with tents - right next to the driveway to the moated castle with its impressive pipes.

As the organizers have now announced, there will be another concert: On Thursday, July 4th, the Sicilian singer-songwriter Pippo Pollina will come to Kochel with the “Palermo Acoustic Quintet”.

The album tells “about the power of music and the consequences of prosperity, about dreams, hopes and disappointments,” says the advance announcement.

Admission costs 39.70 euros, children up to twelve years pay 20 euros.
