Füssen – During a border inspection on the A7 near Füssen (Ostallgäu district), federal police examined an Indian spice combination for drugs.
Officers discovered a brownish powder and a metal spoon in a glove found in the trunk of the vehicle.
This led to initial difficulties in explanation for the three Indian occupants of the car from Italy.
They said they were on their way to visit friends in Reutlingen, Baden-Württemberg.
The police stopped three men on the way to Reutlingen.

According to police, an initial drug test for opiates showed a positive result.
However, the subsequent drug substance test was negative.
After further questioning, it became clear that the substance was the Indian spice mixture Garam Masala.
Near Füssen: Police check three men and file a complaint
However, for two of the three men, their Italian residence permits had not been valid for months.
Therefore, on Sunday, February 11, the police filed a complaint against the driver for attempting to smuggle in foreigners and against the two passengers for attempting to enter the country illegally.
