Drama on the A10 motorway this Tuesday.
A motorcyclist died in an accident also involving a car, early in the morning, near Villejust (Essonne).
It was around 8:30 a.m. when the collision occurred.
For a reason that the police investigation will have to determine, the motorcycle and the second vehicle which were traveling in the Orléans-Paris direction collided.
Another injured
A violent shock: the man riding the two-wheeler, thrown onto the asphalt, was in cardiorespiratory arrest when help arrived.
Around ten firefighters and a medical team from Smur d'Orsay intervened.
Unfortunately the biker could not be saved.
He was 51 years old.
A 21-year-old woman was in the car involved in the accident.
She was taken care of by emergency services, according to our colleagues at Actu Essonne, without being transported to a hospital.

The accident caused disruptions on the axis, in particular due to the closure of two traffic lanes, while rescuers, CRS police officers and highway agents were allowed to work.
Violent collisions are common all along the A10.
One of the most notable dates back to May 2023, when a heavy goods vehicle caught fire after an accident in Forges-les-Bains.
Its driver, trapped in his cabin, was killed.
