A Munich resident was seriously injured in a head-on collision on Freisinger Straße (B471) in Oberschleißheim.
Oberschleißheim
- On Monday around 4:45 p.m., a 42-year-old from Munich drove his black Fiat on Freisinger Straße (B471) through Oberschleißheim.
A 61-year-old from the Munich district came towards him in a white Mercedes minibus.
At the intersection with Holzhackerstrasse, the 42-year-old drove his car into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons and collided head-on with the minibus, the police report.
Fiat driver seriously injured - driver and passenger in the minibus escape with minor injuries
The 42-year-old suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident.
The 61-year-old and her 21-year-old passenger escaped with minor injuries.
All three were taken to hospitals by ambulance.
Freisinger Straße closed for around two hours - traffic diverted
The police reported that property damage amounted to a thousand euros.
There were traffic disruptions while the accident was being recorded.
Freisinger Straße was closed for around two hours.
Traffic was diverted.
The Munich traffic police are conducting further investigations in this case.
