The failure of the Omnibus Law hit the ruling party. The short circuit over the anti-abortion project and the possible alliance with the PRO were added.

The internal movement of La Libertad Avanza (LLA) in the Chamber of Deputies

accelerated

with the fall of the Omnibus Law and the short circuit generated by the project calling for the repeal of the Voluntary Interruption of Pregnancy law.

Added to this was Javier Milei's intention to explore a merger with the PRO, which has already begun to generate

resentment

within the libertarian troop.

It is true that the tension within the bench chaired by

Oscar Zago

was attempted to be concealed after the fall of the megaproject, which did not pass the individual vote, when after six articles the ruling party began to see the support of the dialogue blocs fall, leaving the President without the reform of the State.

After the legislative shock, the LLA deputies had a block meeting in which Zago spoke first and, after

the president left, the bench did so with

Martín Menem, head of the Chamber.

The relationship is not improving, a legislative source assured, and questions about the head of the block are growing while the pressure from the Executive on the Riojan increases.

But the

discomfort

in the libertarian troops was reflected even more one day after the fall of the Omnibus Law, when

25 of the 38 deputies attended

a second meeting of the pro-government legislators .

There was an attempt to disguise the situation by suggesting that some deputies had to go to their provinces, although some of the mistakes were from the Province.

There were even a couple who left before the meeting ended when the strategy to follow after the fall of the Omnibus Law was discussed.

At the same time, an exchange of messages from a WhatsApp group of LLA deputies for the project to repeal the Voluntary Interruption of Pregnancy law began to circulate on the networks.

The proposal had been presented by

Rocío Bonacci

, representative for Santa Fe. But the 27-year-old legislator was also accompanied by the signature of Zago, Beltrán Benedit, María Fernanda Araujo, Lilia Lemoine and Manuel Quintar.

Afterwards, Bonacci clarified that it was his own initiative and not the Executive's, and while he faced the internal reproaches of his fellow blocs who were included among the signatories, the eyes of the most critical remained focused on Zago.

They question him

for not intervening

in the young representative's attempt to repeal the abortion law.

They also reproach him for other gestures such as that some of the deputies did not have the final text of the Omnibus Law with the changes that had been established in the agreements between the Government and the dialogueists.

"The leadership of the head of the block is highly questioned and more than half of the deputies point to his management of the block, which to be mild is

not very transparent

," said an important LLA source, who criticized the negotiation of the Omnibus Law. as well as some designations although he did not delve into that point.

The source consulted by this newspaper also reported that the president of the bloc has little dialogue with journalist Marcela Pagano, but there were also "disagreements" with Lisandro Almirón, deputy for Corrientes, who is one of the toughest in the bloc, but He is conciliatory and seeks consensus to strengthen LLA.

There were even meetings in which Zago gave explanations for the internal situation of the bloc but they assure that "many lost confidence in him."

At one point it was proposed to vote on a block head, but Zago

said that Milei had appointed him

.

Faced with this position, an attempt was made to create a structure with vice presidents and, apparently, they were also opposed.

The president of the ruling party has his own circle, among which Juliana Santillán, Eduardo Falcone, Cecilia Ibánez and Lorena Villaverde stand out.

There are LLA deputies who try to tone down the internal situation, but they all warn that "there is an internal deliberative state."

"There are several scenarios: it may divide the bloc or some sectors may look for another bloc leader. But there are already deputies who are evaluating creating a monobloc," summarized another libertarian source.

For now, LLA is making efforts to contain Pagano.

Píparo banks Milei but not so much his "environment"

Added to all this is the situation of Congresswoman Carolina Píparo, an LLA ally, who was accused of

"treason

" for voting for a section of an article of the Omnibus Law.

At the time, the former candidate for governor of the Province clarified that she voted for all the emergencies and delegated powers and only opposed one section because "it was a modification proposed by another block on trusts."

Píparo maintains his support for the President and

supports his political project

.

However, those around him warned that the criticism points to "the arrogance and ignorance of those around him."

They also made it clear that they value the work of the General Secretary of the Presidency, Karina Milei.

The agreement with Macrism

In the midst of this internal climate, LLA deputies hope that Milei will give greater details about a possible agreement with Macrismo, which is already beginning to generate resentment among libertarians.

Specifically, the LLA bloc is awaiting details of the "implementation" of a possible legislative alliance.

Among the libertarians, they have reservations about the possible departure of Martín Menem from the presidency of the Chamber so that the position can be occupied by

Cristian Ritondo

, head of the PRO bloc and mentioned to head the body when Milei won the runoff.

Nor does it completely close that Ritondo is elected as the president of a possible interblock beyond the fact that "there is good harmony" between the PRO and the LLA.

The thing is that among libertarians, "there are several who do not want integration because they compete with Macrism in different territories of the country," they indicated.

At this point they cited the case of Santillán, who aspires to compete for the mayor of Mar del Plata against

Guillermo Montenegro

.

There is also the case of outsider César Treffinger, who competed with Ignacio Torres for the governorship of Chubut and is critical of the current governor.
