Javier Milei
returned to the country this Tuesday morning after his tour of Israel, Italy and the Vatican, where he held meetings with the main leaders of those States and met with Pope
Francis.
The President began his return to Argentina last night from the city of Rome, after a day in which he met with the Supreme Pontiff for more than an hour;
with the President of Italy, Sergio Matarrella, and the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni.
Flight AZ 680 of the company ITA Airways (former Alitalia) departed from Rome at 10:30 p.m. (6:30 p.m. in Argentina) and landed at 8:09 a.m. at Ezeiza airport.
When he boarded the plane,
the president was received with applause and greetings
from several of the passengers who asked to take photos with him.
Some of them sang the La Renga song that the libertarian used for his campaign.
On the tour, Milei was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei;
Foreign Minister Diana Mondino;
the Minister of the Interior, Guillermo Francos;
and the Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello.
"The President of the Nation returns to Argentina after his successful tour. Delirium on the plane before takeoff," the presidential spokesperson, Manuel Adorni, wrote on his X account, who attached videos with images of what happened on the aircraft.
Upon returning to the country, the President once again had strong activity on social networks and used a good part of his time to repost different messages.
The vast majority, with fragments of the interview that was done on Italian TV, and others with attacks on the artists, after the confrontations that the president has been having with the representatives of culture in the country.
Milei also reposted a message that talks about his future agenda and assures that he will not speak with his back to Congress, as was speculated, at the opening of the ordinary sessions next month.
Regarding the balance of the tour, his first as President of the Nation, Milei said that it was "perfect" and that his visit to Israel, Italy and the Vatican was "possible better."
