After his cancer diagnosis, King Charles recovered at his country estate.
Now he flew back to London via helicopter.
Apparently to get treatment.
London – The king is back in the British capital.
Charles III
landed his royal helicopter on the grounds of Buckingham Palace, British media reported.
He then drove to his current place of residence, Clarendon House.
The actual palace is currently being renovated.
Apparently the 75-year-old flew back for further treatment after his cancer diagnosis.
After making his cancer public, King Charles III retired.
initially returned to his country estate Sandringham in Norfolk.
He recovered there for almost a week.
However, Charles spoke out personally about his cancer for the first time at the weekend.
He thanked his subjects for their sympathy.
Afterwards there was even the first public appearance after the diagnosis became known: Charles attended the church service in Sandringham on Sunday together with Queen Camilla.
King Charles returns to London for cancer treatment
So now the return to London.
Charles and his wife Queen Camilla (76) were spotted in the back seat of a limousine behind rain-soaked windows.
Charles appeared to smile and waved to onlookers.
It is also not clear what form of cancer Charles is suffering from.
The palace only announced the illness itself.
However, it is known that it is not prostate cancer.
It is said that therapy has already begun.
A palace insider had revealed to the
Mirror
that the royal was to receive a "groundbreaking and less invasive treatment".
This is also “highly specialized”.
For this purpose, Charles is taken to a London hospital once a week.
Before and shortly after the treatment, Charles will stay at Clarendon House in London.
The king plans to spend the rest of his time at his country estate in Sandringham, the insider continued.

After cancer diagnosis: Charles' “groundbreaking” treatment could begin
This information fits with Charles' current trip to London.
According to
Dailymail,
Charles will spend “about a day” in the capital.
It is believed he will still hold some face-to-face meetings in London.
Charles announced last week that he would postpone all public duties.
However, insiders had revealed that the king was well enough for a limited number of personal meetings.
