landed his royal helicopter on the grounds of Buckingham Palace, British media reported.

He then drove to his current place of residence, Clarendon House.

The actual palace is currently being renovated.

Apparently the 75-year-old flew back for further treatment after his cancer diagnosis.

After making his cancer public, King Charles III retired.

initially returned to his country estate Sandringham in Norfolk.

He recovered there for almost a week.

However, Charles spoke out personally about his cancer for the first time at the weekend.

He thanked his subjects for their sympathy.

Afterwards there was even the first public appearance after the diagnosis became known: Charles attended the church service in Sandringham on Sunday together with Queen Camilla.
