The criminal court of Versailles (Yvelines) sentenced a 28-year-old man to 10 months in prison on Tuesday for escaping under electronic surveillance and driving while drunk.

The facts date back to the night of Sunday, February 11, when a police patrol from Mantes-la-Jolie arrested two men in a vehicle driving at high speed.

That evening, D., wearing an electronic bracelet, was dropped off at the emergency room of the city hospital by a friend, due to a toothache.

“I was there barely five minutes,” confides the father of a 6-month-old girl.

In this case, the court also looked into the presence of a category B, 22 caliber weapon in the vehicle.
