Montrouge: they looted the spirits section of the Auchan store

They thought they had fooled the security agents and evaded the surveillance of the cameras.

It was therefore a great surprise for two young men to see the Montrouge police officers arrive, early this Monday morning, at their respective homes, in Seine-Saint-Denis.

Several thefts are accused of these two suspects aged 21 and 22.

“Thefts of alcohol bottles,” specifies a police source.

All committed to the detriment of the same brand, the Auchan store in Montrouge.

For these facts, the damage is estimated between 2,000 and 2,500 euros.

According to our information, the duo of alleged thieves was identified following a long and careful cross-checking process.

One of the investigators' missions was in particular to compare the video surveillance images with those appearing in the criminal record processing files (TAJ) which list all the people implicated in criminal cases.

The two suspects were released after a few hours in police custody.

One will be judged during an appearance for admission of guilt (CRPC), the other will be the subject of a subsequent summons.
