Nîmes: a drug trafficker on the run for several months was arrested

and had maintained his links

“with the Nîmes criminal environment”

The suspect was also found in the company of another man, also wanted for violence linked to drug trafficking in the Pissevin city, whom the Montpellier PJ police officers also arrested.

Presented to a magistrate, he was imprisoned to carry out the sentences pronounced against him, concluded Lacassin.

The Cité Pissevin, an impoverished district of Nîmes plagued by violence, is the regular scene of shootings and score-settling linked to drug trafficking.
