Now it turns out that it is stolen goods.

Police investigations revealed that the bike had been stolen.

An attentive passer-by pointed out to the police on January 13th that the expensive two-wheeler had been standing at Kochler train station for weeks.
The police then seized it and launched an appeal through the press to get information about the bike's origins.

Meanwhile, the officials say, it has emerged that the Rotwild brand mountain bike - the value is in the four-digit euro range - was stolen from a briefly unlocked garage in October 2023 in Seefeld, Austria, near the national border.
The owner of the bike is a 59-year-old from Ingolstadt.
It is not known who stole it.
“There is still no trace of the perpetrator,” said the police.
