Bundesliga soccer team RB Leipzig is threatened with elimination in the round of 16 of the Champions League.
Despite a courageous performance, the Saxons lost the first leg against Real Madrid 0-1 (0-0) on Tuesday evening and are under pressure before the second leg on March 6th in Spain.
In front of 45,028 spectators in the sold-out Leipzig Stadium, Brahim Díaz scored the decisive goal for the guests (49th minute).
Leipzig - Coach Marco Rose's Leipzig team had good opportunities right up to the final phase and had a controversial offside goal disallowed in a tricky situation.
