He reports dramatic scenes.
Rome – The small community of Manziana north of Rome speaks of a “serious tragedy”.
Three Rottweilers attacked and killed a jogger in a forest.
The case caused horror in Italy.
The attack occurred on Sunday morning when the 39-year-old was apparently jogging in the Manziana city forest.
A place where residents and visitors often go for walks, cycling or horse riding.
So does the victim.
This is indicated by sneakers and the shorts he was wearing.
Walkers found the lifeless man around 8:30 a.m.

the victim had deep bite wounds on his face and arms.
These indicate that the man tried in vain to fend off the animals with his hands.

“Instinctively I took the pitchfork that I use to harvest hay out of the pick-up truck, and when I turned the corner I saw a horrific scene,” he tells the portal

The dogs were still lying on the victim.
The breeder assumes that the 39-year-old was already dead at that time.
“Dying like that is terrible,” he says.

“They ran towards me, but I managed to defend myself,” he continues.
Luckily he had his car nearby.

“I did what I could, unfortunately it didn’t help prevent the man’s death,” he summarizes.
The images have haunted the breeder ever since, he says.
The dogs continued to run around freely in the forest after the incident.
Foresters, park rangers, veterinarians and the carabinieri combed the area for hours.
Eventually they were found, anesthetized and taken to a nearby kennel, as
