The 17th “Bergdoktor” season starts on ZDF on January 4th.
Now the broadcaster has shared initial information about the new episodes.
Ellmau – Just a few more weeks of patience, then the time has finally come and the 17th “Bergdoktor” season goes on air.
The new episodes of the home series start on January 4th, 2024 and are guaranteed to have plenty of drama, heart and turbulent family moments in store.
Before the big premiere, ZDF has now leaked a few first details about the latest adventures of Martin Gruber (Hans Sigl, 54) and Co.
On January 4th, 2024 on ZDF: This happens in the first new “Bergdoktor” episode
The 17th “Bergdoktor” season has to do one thing above all: answer the many questions that the previous season left behind.
On the one hand, the still critical state of health of Lisbeth Gruber (Monika Baumgartner, 72), then the future of the family's Grubermilch business - and above all, of course, the tense atmosphere between Martin and his brother Hans (Heiko Ruprecht, 51).

In the ZDF program preview you can now read plot details for the first three episodes of the new “Bergdoktor” season – and they are quite something.
In the opening episode “Looking Ahead,” the focus is on the lives of the Grubers, alongside a snail breeder living in the wilderness and a serious moped accident.
Lisbeth has woken up from her coma but doesn't want Martin to be involved in her medical examination.
Meanwhile, their two sons are doing farming together - and Martin receives an invitation from his old flirt Karin Bachmeier (Hilde Dalik, 45).
This is how it continues for the Grubers in “Der Bergdoktor”.
In the second episode, “Abysses,” the focus continues to be on Lisbeth’s health.
The Gruber mother doesn't want to talk to her sons about her ongoing treatment - is she perhaps hiding something from them?
Meanwhile, Lilli (Ronja Forcher, 27) continues to work in her grandfather Rolf Pflüger's (Wolfram Berger, 78) business and her father Martin gets into quite a dilemma when a patient lets him in on an explosive secret that involves changing names and a game of hide-and-seek has to do.

The third “Bergdoktor” episode doesn’t skimp on dramatic twists either.
Martin Gruber wants to help the siblings Lennart (Jonas Kaufmann, 20) and Vinzent Neumüller (Tom Böttcher, 29).
At the same time, he and his family finally find out what's wrong with Lisbeth's health.
Because her father Rolf and she are threatened with fraud charges, Caro Pflüger (Barbara Lanz, 40) has to get her ex-husband to pay her the divorce settlement - but he surprises her with a request.
While filming the new season, it sounded as if Martin and Lilli Gruber would become estranged in the new episodes.
The “Bergdoktor” stars Hans Sigl and Ronja Forcher are now clearing up these rumors.
