A sexual assault appears to have occurred at a youth carnival party.
The police are investigating three young men, two of them minors.

the incident occurred at a celebration of a Catholic youth organization.
The public prosecutor's office in Frankenthal (Palatinate) and the Rhine-Palatinate police headquarters jointly issued a press release about the incident: The public prosecutor's office and the criminal police have already started the investigation.
Accordingly, it is said there was a sexual assault by three young people aged 15 and 19 on Saturday evening, February 10, 2024.
A 15-year-old was affected.
“According to initial investigations, they are said to have carried out sexual acts on the young people against her will at a carnival party,” the authorities explain in the official statement.

that the 15-year-old alleged victim has not yet been able to be questioned and is currently being examined by a doctor.
There are a total of three suspects - a young man and two minors.
