A parade without local insults, but with elaborate costumes and a great atmosphere in ideal weather: that's what the people of Moosburg were able to experience on Tuesday.
Only one post was out of line.
Moosburg
- The fact that the people of Moosburg are really in the mood for their carnival parade was evident long before it began on Tuesday lunchtime: While the groups and car crews were dancing to party music, the streets of the old town were filling up with spectators at a rapid pace.
Many people had put a lot of effort into dressing up, and the children waited expectantly with bags and bags ready for the candy shower.
When it finally started, the sun peeked out from between the clouds just in time to top it all off.
There was an abundance of sweets for the children.

The audience was treated to a total of 35 diverse contributions: from several kindergartens and sports clubs to theater and musician groups to various fool's halls and aid organizations, a broad cross-section of Moosburg society was presented.
While the Kolping marching band and the Moosburg water rescue team had the same idea and marched along as wild pirates, the Eching women's association made its guest appearance as a bunch of Mexican undead with a coffin on wheels and walked through the crowds.
The Narrhalla took over the moderation of the procession.

The group “Namenlos Grandios” under the leadership of Ulrike Oswald probably had the most elaborate costumes to offer: They appeared as imaginative circus characters – including a funny two-person camel.
The local Greens association also had lots of colors with them and commemorated the next elections in June with rainbow and EU flags under the motto “for a diverse Europe”.
The members of the Moosburg Greens local association made a political statement.

While in other places in the district and federal territory social or political issues are often discussed during parades, such swipes were sought in vain in Moosburg.
In view of the omnipresent wars in the Middle East and Ukraine, the military vehicle that a caterer used to advertise his sweeping party in the middle of the parade seemed clearly out of place.
The little Florians' disciples from the Pfrombach-Aich children's fire department were also enthusiastic about it.

Speaking of partying: After the move, many Moosburgers didn't feel like going home - instead they crowded the bars in the city center or celebrated with the Narrhalla on their huge party area on the "plan".
