10:58 a.m.:

In consultation with Simon Behmenburg, city tree inspector, and city council member Richard Hoch, chairman of the tree protection commission, the tree crew from the city of Bad Tölz depot will fell two black pines this Tuesday on the west side of the triple gymnasium on Jahnstrasse.

The city announces this.

“For the safety of passers-by, the work on the Krottenbach, which is otherwise heavily frequented by students, will now be carried out during the carnival holidays,” said town hall spokeswoman Birte Stahl.

According to the announcement, this measure is necessary because a pine tree has lost its stability due to the civil engineering work on the installation shaft.

“Due to its size, the second tree is now too close to the TV extension,” says Stahl.

“This leads to damage to the roof and, as a result of the gutter being blocked, to repeated flooding in the basement.” According to Stahl, four new trees will be planted as a replacement.

9.47 a.m.:

The Tölzer saxophonist Peter Zoelch regularly invites you to jazz concerts in the Tölzer Kurhaus, which he performs together with good musician colleagues.

The next evening under the motto “Peter Zoelch & Friends” will take place on Thursday, February 15th.

This time the guest on stage is Daniel Akhigbe.

He sings and plays the trumpet.

Robert Probst (piano), Ludwig Leininger (double bass) and Stefan Noelle (drums) will also be on stage.

The program includes a lot of swing, but also bossa nova, blues and ballads as well as jazz music from the 1930s to the 60s.

The concert starts at 7.30 p.m. and entry costs 15 euros.

Monday, February 12th:

5.18 p.m.:

The Tölzer Bergwacht invites you again to its spring singing with excellent musicians and singers.

The charity event for the volunteer mountain rescue service will only take place on Saturday, March 23rd, at 8 p.m. in the Tölzer Kurhaus.

However, the past few years have shown that you have to be quick when buying tickets.

Tickets for 20 euros each are available at the Winzerer bookstore and the Tölzer Tourist Information Center.

Siegi Götze will again lead the program in a humorous way.

Included are the Elstätzinger musicians, musicians from the Salzburger Land and Chiemgau, the “Kerschbaam Zithermusi” in the classic line-up with three zithers and double guitar and the “Dreiwinkl Gsang”.

The “Starnberger Fischerbuam”, who have also come to the Kurhaus, this time with instruments as “Fischerbuam Tanzlmusi”, have been awarded several times as Viergsang in the Alpine region.

On Friday, February 16th, Maxi Pongratz will be at the Tölzer “Lust” in the “Gasthaus”.

Starts at 8 p.m.

At his concerts he examines life with “touching depth and inspires with his erratic, brittle and associative announcements”.

Everyday life is what everyone knows, but under Maxi Pongratz's gaze it becomes strange, so that we can get to know him and ourselves all over again.

Tickets are available from Schreibwaren Zauner on Marktstrasse in Bad Tölz on the telephone number 0 80 41/7 81 40. Further information can be found on the Tölzer Lust homepage: www.kulturverein-lust.de.
