This Tuesday, the Peruvian police took advantage of the Valentine's season to capture an alleged drug trafficker through an agent dressed as a teddy bear, who showed up at a house where illegal substances were supposedly stored with a heart-shaped balloon and a sign that read “You are my reason to smile.”
The anti-drug raid took place in the Lima district of San Martín de Porres, north of the city.
The agent dressed as a bear waited for her suspect outside her house. When she approached the undercover element, another agent ran out to capture her and search the house, where they found bags containing illicit substances.
Two people were arrested in the operation: a mother and her daughter.
According to local media, both were accused of drug trafficking.
