A 26-year-old young man injured by numerous stab wounds in Arnouville (Val-d'Oise), was treated Tuesday evening at Gonesse hospital.
The day after this attack, his life was no longer in danger, although his vital prognosis was in jeopardy at the time of his admission to the emergency department where he was taken directly by his family.
According to the first elements collected by the police, the facts occurred around 8:30 p.m., in a suburban street in Arnouville.
The victim, who is believed to be from Montmagny, otherwise unknown to the police, was going to visit his family for the evening.
But he arrived at the pavilion bleeding, explaining that he had just been attacked in the street.
Two or three hooded men
The victim said he was attacked by several hooded men, two or three, who sprayed him with tear gas, before stabbing him and taking his cell phone.
The victim's family decided to transport the young man immediately to the emergency room of Gonesse hospital, by their own means.
According to findings made on site, the young man had no less than 11 wounds on his body, caused by one or more bladed weapons.
The medical team believed at that time that the victim's vital prognosis was well underway.
The nursing staff also notified the Gonesse police station of the presence of the patient who was the victim of an attack.
Investigators from the DCT of Val-d'Oise (Territorial Crime Division, the former departmental security), were seized of the investigation and carried out the first investigations this Wednesday to determine the precise circumstances of the reported attack by the victim.
A procedure was opened for robbery in a meeting and with a weapon, after having initially been opened for attempted murder.
