An unknown man threatened his victim with a knife and demanded money.
As tears fall, the robber reacts completely unexpectedly.
Villach – Was the perpetrator simply taken by surprise?
Did the robber have a heart after all?
A shocked woman reported an attempted serious robbery to the police in Villach (Austria).
A man pulled out a knife and suddenly let go of his victim.
Surprisingly, he showed rather polite behavior.
But now from the beginning.
“Wish you a nice day” – Robber aborts robbery
An unknown man threatened the 80-year-old with a knife on Monday around 2:15 p.m. in Villach, the police said at the request of

The man demanded money from his victim.
Since the woman didn't have any cash with her, she started crying.
Then, according to the pensioner, the following words were said:
“No problem, I wish you a nice day,” said the robber.
The unknown man then left the crime scene in the area of the Drauradweg, towards the city center.
According to the police, an immediate search was launched and a suspect was caught.
When confronted, however, the woman denied that she was the perpetrator.
Police in Austria continue to search for the unknown man
The police are therefore continuing to search for the unknown man and describe the perpetrator as follows: “Man, around 25 to 30 years old, national, black clothing with a hoodie, white and black shoes.” According to the police, the crime scene was in the area of the Drau cycle path, close St. Magdalener-Straße, 200 meters after the snow ramp in the direction of the city.
The 80-year-old was uninjured in the incident and refused emergency services, according to police.
A 34-year-old was injured with a knife during a robbery on the S-Bahn in Munich.
At first he refused to hand over cash.
