In the Sal de Tierra community kitchen, children, elderly people and entire families wait to receive what, for many, would be their only meal of the day.

Argentina has started 2024 with inflation of 20.6% for January, which represents a slowdown of almost five points compared to the December figures, which reached 25.5%.

After closing 2023 with a 211.4% price increase, Argentina's year-on-year inflation reached 254.2% in January.


This Wednesday the new inflation figures for the country will be published, which closed 2023 with a year-on-year inflation of 211.4%.
