The Lower House on Wednesday finally approved the establishment of a commission of inquiry into the government's handling of the COVID-19 crisis.
The relevant bill, setting up a commission on "the government's actions and the measures adopted by it to prevent and address the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency", was passed by 312 votes to 86 with one abstention.
The Senate had already approved the bill.
