This rumor is currently making the rounds in the community after two dead and one seriously injured sheep were found on Thursday morning.

But so far the whole thing is nothing more than a rumor.

The authorities cannot confirm the predator attack.

Throat bites in five sheep: hunter found “dog-like marks”.

About the facts: Farmer Georg Riesenberger found two sheep dead on Thursday morning.

A third was so badly injured that the farmer had to rescue him.

Two more sheep were injured, all five had a throat bite, but no other bite marks, the farming family reported when asked.

The sheep were killed in the pasture behind the farm on Rosenheimer Strasse, just before the town exit.

Seven female sheep were grazing there.

Riesenberger called in the veterinarian, various hunters and foresters.

A hunter noticed “dog-like tracks”.

This was confirmed on Sunday by the press office of the Munich police headquarters at the request of the Münchner Merkur.

The incident is being further investigated by experts, says farmer Riesenberger. A wolf tear has not yet been 100 percent confirmed, “but there are a lot of indications of it.”

He has taken measures to protect his 20 sheep even better.

The farming family brought the three dead sheep to the Institute for Animal Pathology in Oberschleißheim on Saturday, where they will be examined on behalf of the Bavarian State Office for the Environment.
