Luxury comes to hunt in Orléans to recruit.

This Thursday, February 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Orléans conference center, the LVMH group (

) is organizing a show to attract new talents and is mobilizing some of its larger “houses” like Dior, Vuitton or Guerlain.

The goal is to encourage vocations in numerous professions, “not necessarily always well known”, such as sewing, leather goods, bottle decoration, but also sales or formulation, explains Alexandre Boquel, director of Professions of Excellence LVMH.

On site, participants, young or old, middle school students, high school students, students or people in retraining, will be able to participate in workshops, interact with apprentices in training or experienced professionals, get coaching, or even submit a CV.

“I’m living my dream”

This journey is the one undertaken by Julie, 20 years old, now an apprentice for a year at LVMH Research in Orléans and a third year chemistry student at the IUT, an establishment with which LVMH has established a partnership.

“I went to this same show last year in the Paris region, and it made me want to work in a renowned group even more.

I’m living my dream,” smiles the young girl, who is particularly working on lipsticks.

This Thursday, February 15, she will be at the show to share her experience with visitors, who will have access to 3,500 internship or job offers.

Called You & Me, this show is organized over six dates in France (free entry but possibility of pre-registering on the site).

This is the second time that it has taken place in Orléans, in the heart of the Cosmetic Valley which hosts several establishments, factories or workshops of the LVMH group, including Parfums Christian Dior and LVMH Recherche in the Orléans area and Guerlain in Chartres. .
