A procedure which surprises the victim and his lawyer given the seriousness of the facts and their consequences.

CRPCs are generally reserved for the least serious offenses, punishable by less than five years in prison and on condition that the perpetrator admits the facts.

If the framework is respected, the total incapacity for work of 21 days is nevertheless significant and could have justified a referral to the criminal court, regrets Me Pierre-Henri Bovis.

“At the hearing, I only saw lack of licenses and driving under the influence of alcohol, but not violence at my level,” laments the victim.

The facts date back to March 23, 2023. The defendant had arrived at the Marolles-en-Hurepoix club the previous year.

“We noticed that he was nervous,” the victim remembers.

He had already threatened a teammate.

» That day, training comes to an end and concludes with a match.

“He felt that I had made a mistake on him.

Our coach didn't whistle anything, so he started complaining.

When the match was over, I heard him say that I was bad, that I didn't know how to play.

I told him that neither did he.

He wanted to fight.

I told him that I was no longer 20, and that I have children.

I grabbed my bag and headed to the locker room.

Punched to the ground while unconscious

Barely arrived and put his bag down, Nevil B. arrives and hits him on the right cheekbone.

“My head hit the locker and I lost consciousness,” the victim said.

His opponent takes the opportunity to hit him twice, while he is on the ground, unconscious.

Alerted by the noises, a player arrives and shouts: “No, but it’s not okay!”

Did you see what you did?

" " What's your problem ?

Do you want me to take care of you too?

» the attacker replies, before leaving.

He has since apologized, admitting it was "a bloodbath", and has been expelled from the club.

The victim had to be operated on under general anesthesia, the bones of his cheekbone having been broken and his eye socket depressed: “They put three plates on me.

I have scars.

I have a part of my face that has a loss of sensitivity and I am at risk of permanent vision problems.

I was only able to start playing basketball again at the start of the school year, and I changed clubs.
