Last year there was a huge crowd at the “free” on the grounds of the Munich Trade Fair.

Various companies and providers from the Tölzer Land are presenting themselves at the “free” travel and leisure trade fair, which begins this Wednesday (February 14th) in Munich.
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen - It is Bavaria's largest travel and leisure trade fair: the “free” which will take place again on the Munich Trade Fair grounds from Wednesday to Sunday, February 14th to 18th.
Various providers from the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district are also there
For Tobias Vetter it is the first time on the “free”.
He runs the “Good Life Vans” business in Eurasburg and travels quite a bit to trade fairs.
“We will be showing two VW buses with our upgrades on site,” he announces.
In principle, all buses can be converted into campers.
“During Corona we had a strong influx of people who came into contact with camping for the first time.” For about a year and a half now, more interested parties have come from the industry again.
He is very excited about the clientele at “free”, as it is increasingly aimed at end consumers.
Vetter can be found at his stand every day between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Exhibitors hope for “good discussions”
“MB Luxury Design” led by owner Serdar Gecim is also celebrating a premiere at “free”.
As an employee from the office says, the company, which has been based in Lenggries for a year, offers camper accessories.
For example, curtains, mosquito nets and blackout elements are on display.
The trade fair was chosen to advertise.

The “Nugget-Schmiede” from Kochel am See is also represented at the trade fair for the first time this year.
“As Ford’s expansion partner, we are standing together at the stand with Ford,” reports Steffi Hoeck.
The company refines the Ford Nugget camper, which is suitable for everyday use.
Two vehicles with accessories will be exhibited at “free”.
“For the first time and completely new in our range, we have our fantastic panoramic window with side ventilation eyes.” The “Nugget-Schmiede” decided on a stand “because it is the Munich trade fair and we are hoping for a lot of good discussions.”
High customer frequency at the stand
The “Isar Outdoorcenter” from Lenggries is already a regular guest on the “free”.
The office says they are represented again with a mini camper.
“This time we have a small camper with two cars” – a smaller camper for two people and a larger one for up to five.
The trade fair in Munich is “a home game” for the company, which is why it takes part there every year.
Josef Geisreiter from the car dealership of the same name in Bad Tölz had positive experiences when he attended the “free” for the first time last year.
“The trade fair was very well attended, officially there were 160,000 people.” This ensured a high level of customer frequency.
Similar to last year, motorhomes from “Ahorn” will be shown this year, only the new models.
Camper vans are also in the repertoire.
Since preparing the trade fair takes a lot of work, says Geisreiter, “I hope it goes well.”
Tölzer Land Tourismus focuses on the topic of mobility
“Tölzer Land Tourismus” is represented as the sixth exhibitor from the district.
According to a press release, the focus is on the topic of mobility: “Stress-free exploration of the region without long car journeys and nerve-racking searches for parking spaces.” The solution lies in public transport offerings, such as the express bus routes.
The X970 line will be presented at the exhibition stand.
With this, excursion destinations such as fairytale forests or museums can be reached directly.
With a day ticket you can also get on and off spontaneously at any station.

Herbs and a photo box at the stand
After the opening of the trade fair on Wednesday, State Minister Michaela Kaniber visits the stand at 11.45 a.m. The Vitalhöfe of the Tölzer Land will also be presenting themselves on the same day.
Also on site are the city experimenters (February 15th), the Bad Heilbrunn herbal adventure park (February 16th) and the city of Wolfratshausen (February 17th).
On the weekend of 17th/18th
February there will be a photo box where guests can dress up and have their photos taken.
Herbal educator Veronika Stöckner will be presenting edible wild herbs from the Tölzer Land on Saturday at the Bayernbühne.
