Gas pipeline explosion in Iran/Telegram
Two points in Iran's main gas pipelines were hit this morning (Wednesday) by explosions - the state media reported, with local officials saying that they suspect it was a sabotage operation.
The explosions occurred in the center of Iran in a central gas pipeline running from south to north, and the provinces of Fars, Isfahan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari raised their alert.
Officials told state television that the explosions did not cause casualties or disruptions in the national gas supply network, and that a preliminary investigation indicates sabotage.
However, some Iranian media reported that the gas supply to industries and offices will be stopped today in several districts across Iran following the incidents.
