Roy Neuman, one of the leaders of the "Kaplan Force" against the legal revolution, will be compensated over NIS 100,000 as part of a settlement agreement reached in a mediation process with an X (former Twitter) activist, who published defamatory and inflammatory posts against him.

"Since the beginning of the protest against the coup d'état, the leaders of the protest have been subjected to an unprecedented campaign of slander and incitement by the poison machine on social media," Kaplan Force said.

The activist in the social network, Shimon Hermon, will pay Neuman 102,550 shekels, following publications in which he wrote that Neuman is a descendant of Nazis and has a criminal record.

"Inciter and instigator for mass group desertion of IDF soldiers", "(member) of terrorist gangs working 24/7 to destroy the state", "(he was promised) a political bribe", Hermon wrote in several posts, and in others he added: "The next generation of the Nazis" , "(working) to destroy the state" and "paid propagandist of the Fourth Reich".

The lawyers accompanying Neuman, Ohad Rosen, Idan Seger and Natan Schwartzman, said after reaching the settlement: "The fight for the soul of Israeli democracy goes through the cleansing of the public space from lies, slander and wild incitement. Today's settlement, determined in relation to a large number of response tweets, Sets a clear standard - whoever slanders and slanders will pay dearly for it."

About two weeks ago, one of the leaders of the protest against the legal revolution, Shakma Bresler, filed a defamation lawsuit against Knesset member Tali Gottlieb, and against six other network activists, in the amount of NIS 2.6 million.

This, following the Knesset member's claim, according to which Bresler had ties with Hamas.

"At the heart of the publications, a blood plot against Bresler and accusing her of treason to the homeland, in connection with Hamas, and responsibility for the terrible massacre carried out by its terrorists," the lawyers wrote in the lawsuit, referring to the publication of the conspiracy website "Edna Carnival" cited by Gottlieb.

In response to the lawsuit against her, Gottlieb wrote on X (formerly Twitter): "Ms. Bressler missed the spotlight and announced that she filed a lawsuit against me. I return and clarify that my immunity is fundamental and anchored in the law and I have no intention of removing it. I am sorry to disappoint the lady who is responsible with her friends Among other things for the hell that happened to us. (Bresler, you are obliged to deliver in person and you have your connections to get my address)."
