King Charles is currently receiving numerous wishes for his recovery.

His goddaughter India Hicks also showed sympathy, albeit with a somewhat questionable picture.

London – Since Monday, King Charles (75) has been able to look forward to huge sympathy and numerous well-wishes.

The monarch announced his cancer diagnosis on Monday (February 5), but kept the type of cancer to himself.

Countless politicians, royal colleagues and private individuals found loving words, many thanked Charles for his openness and wished him all the best.

Charles' godchild India Hicks (56) was also among those who took part.

India Hicks praised Charles as a thoughtful godfather who sent loving gifts

India Hicks (53) was 13 years old at the time of the wedding and was asked by the then Prince Charles, her godfather and second cousin, if she wanted to attend his wedding as a bridesmaid.

Together with Sarah Chatto (59), India was responsible for Princess Diana's (36, † 1997) train.

Her mother Pamela Hicks (94) is the cousin of the late Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip (99, † 2021).

The seasoned wife of David Flint Wood (62) is a writer and mother of five children.

She remains close to the British royal family and praised Charles as an attentive godfather who sent her loving birthday and Christmas presents over the years.

The photo that India Hicks chose for her short recovery wishes “Thoughts and Prayers” seems a bit irritating at first glance, as it shows an old summer photo in which the current king stands shirtless in front of a house with his hands on his shoulders the then young India laid.

More people can be seen in the background, but no one can be seen.

India wears a light yellow T-shirt with “India” written on it.

The aristocrat probably simply wanted to show closeness with the picture, but as a symbol of sympathy it is definitely out of the ordinary.
