) and Franquin (Gaston and his codfish with strawberries, Marsupilami and his piranhas) are already worth the detour, the sequel, composed of more than 500 drawings, plates and documents by around a hundred authors occupying some 1000 square meters, does not leave the visitor unsatisfied.
The main room devotes food and its rituals as mirrors of our societies through extracts from comic strips, of course, but also posters, wine labels, newspapers... It's difficult to make it more current than the family meal drawn by Chris Ware on the front page of the
New Yorker
in November 2023, where everyone is busy on their cell phones.
