Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have relaunched their website.
Their name is suspiciously reminiscent of “Sussex royal”, the domain that the Queen banned them from.
Montecito - Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan Markle, 42, are risking another row with the royal family since they launched a new website last night that uses their Sussex title.
Instead of the previous Archewell website, the ducal couple has been using sussex.com since yesterday.
After leaving the British royal family in 2020, Queen Elizabeth II (96, † 2022) prohibited them from continuing their previously well-functioning network name “Sussex Royal”.

The Queen wanted to exclude the use of the word “royal” for marketing purposes.
However, the brand had only recently been established at great financial expense.
Strictly speaking, sussex.com does not contain any royal content, but that is debatable.

There are early warnings that the use of her Sussex title and the royal coat of arms that adorn the new pages could lead to complaints from the palace if used commercially.

Many Brits find the way Meghan and Harry present themselves on the new website too ostentatious.
Others are more concerned about the timing, as King Charles III.
(75) is currently battling cancer, Princess Kate (42) is ailing and is avoiding the public eye and the senior royals are pretty thin at the top, while Meghan and Harry paint their careers and their work in bright colors.

The relaunch of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's website is not met with widespread criticism everywhere.

The Duke is described as a “humanitarian, military veteran, mental health advocate and environmental activist.”
His wife describes herself as a “feminist and advocate for human rights and gender equality.”
The website is run by the “Office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex” and is a “one-stop shop” for all their activities and of course their old domain “Sussex Royal” is also linked.
Just recently, a royal observer at
Dailymail
was bothered by the fact that the Sussex Royal website and Instagram presence were still accessible.
