The president of

River Plate

,

Jorge Brito

, announced in the last few hours new reforms in the

Monumental

stadium to complete the mega work that he has been carrying out since the beginning of his administration in order to turn the Millionaire's house into the "largest" stage and modern South America".

And he offered another piece of good news: red and white will once again shine in various spaces.

After the controversy that arose when gray became the predominant color in the Monumental, the top leader of the Núñez club took action and decided on a series of modifications and more works to be done with that objective.

As detailed by Brito in a thread on the lX social network (previously known as Twitter), the club has decided to build a red and white ring that will surround the Sívori Grandstand, repaint the parking lot, the central hall, and the home and visitor tunnels. .

The transformation began weeks ago, when River placed more than 20 shields throughout the property, repainted the entire lower exterior sector of the Belgrano stands, the popular ones, and formed the flags in the San Martín and Belgrano Baja stalls with seats.

GLORIOUS COLORS

We are in the last stage of the works that turn our stadium into the largest and most modern in America.

The white and red ring

A white and red ring will surround the Sivori with unalterable aluminum plates

From the same entrance

The parking lot, recently renovated and expanded to five levels, will be completely covered in our colors.

The hall of shields

The Central Hall (from now on “Hall of the Shields”) will have a metal covering that will include the club's shields.

A new ceiling of red and white metal strips with 100% LED lighting will be installed.

The "tunnel to triumph"

The home and away tunnels will have a continuous red and white band on the players' path to the field of play.

The covering will be backlit and at each end will be the phrase that summarizes what we are looking for: “Honor the past, writing the present, for a future of greatness.”

"More social life"

But in addition to the great changes that express the history and glory of River, we put special care in the works that improve the lives of members in the club.

That is why now the external barbecue areas are being built with grills, tables, a cleaning and washing area, ping-pong tables and ping-pong soccer tables.

A structure specially made in the club's colors.

Murals and shields

In the first game of this year we debuted the new murals at the central access to the beach at Sivori Baja, designed by the same muralist who created the existing ones at Sivori Alta.

In addition, we placed more than 20 shields throughout the property.

We repainted the entire lower exterior sector of the Belgrano grandstand red and white.

We formed the flags with seats in the San Martín and Belgrano Baja stalls and painted the popular ones red and white.
