From the plant of the future to the living room algae, there will be hundreds of curiosities on display at the eighth edition of Myplant & Garden, one of the most important green fairs in the world, at Fiera Milano Rho, from 21 to 23 February.
Over 20,000 operators from all continents looking for innovations in the horticultural sector presented by the 768 exhibitors (21% from abroad) who will transform 4 pavilions into a 50,000m2 maxi-park/garden.
If innovation, sustainability and creativity are at the center of the edition, there will be no shortage of the most singular and innovative proposals such as the latest discoveries for the nourishment of plants and soils, eco-furnishings and accessories made of natural materials, terrariums and apartment lampariums, honey plants to host bees and butterflies in the garden, bird gardens, domestic plant incubators, soilless cultivation, mini-biofactories, intelligent irrigation systems, cutting-edge machinery, new solutions for sports turf.
Events and workshops will then be organized between anti-heat and anti-frost plants and hibiscus of all shapes and colours.
Expected are world masters of floral decoration, lumberjacks on trees, gardening demonstrations, wedding-themed flower-fashion catwalks, many artistic-botanical installations, floral-themed exhibitions and settings, cooking shows with barbecue chefs and multi-sport fields created in partnership with Fgci, Football Federation, UEFA and other partners.
In the over 60 conferences organized, the 30km/h zones in Milan, the new sports stadiums, the new Parcodella Salute in Pavia and the first green cemetery in Italy will also be discussed.
During the days above, the Fnside conference of the National Union of Regional Journalists' Associations on Agriculture, Food, Environment, Territory, Forests, Fisheries, Energy, Rural and Environmental Tourism will also take place and the new competition notice for the design and creation of a therapeutic garden for users of the Spazio Vita Center and patients hospitalized at the Spinal Unit in the Niguarda Hospital in Milan.
