National tribute to Robert Badinter: where to watch the ceremony on television?

Highlights: The national tribute to Robert Badinter will take place this Wednesday, February 14, on Place Vendôme in Paris. France Télévisions is changing its programming, with a special edition which will be broadcast from 10:50 a.m. on France 2, franceinfo and france.tv. The event will also be broadcast live on LCI, as part of a special program which will begin at 11 a. m. Competing news channels BFMTV and CNews are also involved.


The event which pays tribute to the former Minister of Justice will be broadcast on France 2 and continuous news channels this Wednesday, from late morning.

During a trip to Bordeaux on February 9, the day of Robert Badinter's death, Emmanuel Macron spoke about Robert Badinter's possible entry into the Pantheon.

According to LFI MP Sébastien Delogu on BFMTV, two of his colleagues will still attend the national tribute.

Caroline Fiat and Éric Coquerel have confirmed their presence: one as vice-president of the National Assembly, the other as president of the finance committee.
