Six fire departments responded to a fire in a carpentry workshop in Reichersbeur's Reintal industrial area on Wednesday afternoon.
Reichersbeuern - At around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon there was considerable smoke in the building in the Reichersbeuern industrial area.
The emergency services quickly identified the cause: “The fire started through the workshop oven and material that was deposited too close to the oven,” said Anton Melf, district fire chief and operations manager, when asked by our newspaper.

The fire was quickly brought under control.
The firefighters also opened the ceiling to look for embers.
The operation was over after about 90 minutes.
90 volunteers from the volunteer fire departments from Reichersbeuern, Sachsenkam, Greiling, Bad Tölz, Lenggries and Waakirchen were on site.
The alarm was so extensive because it was a carpentry shop, and it was unclear whether there were people in the house, says Melf.
There is currently no information about the material damage caused.
Almost a year ago, the fire brigades were deployed on a very similar mission.
At that time, the embers of a stove had probably ignited chips and dried wood stored nearby.
